Mantis is far more calm in the moment, but he can practically see a storm cloud over the other man's head. Substance effects and a lack of sleep. He's seen it plenty before. Strapped to his back is a large basket and out of the top of the basket pokes the head of a calico catbird. The little animal perks up seeing Tommy approaching from the other direction and mewls, pulling just a little on the harness keeping him in the basket.
"Are you..." Mantis caught himself before asking a stupid question. "I know you're not all right, but are you sure you should be out in such a state?"
